July 4th means alot of things, but what I'm always looking forward to the most is the BBQ; Ribs, Mac n Cheese, and a whole lot more! So in partnership with Stubb's BBQ, I set out to create the ultimate July 4th Breakfast Sandwich!
Here's a basic recipe!
Ribs
Coat St. Louis Style Pork ribs with Stubb's Pork Spice Rub and cook in a 500 degree oven for 1.5 hours or until tender
Then put on grill and continuously slather with Stubb's Stubb’s Sweet Honey & Spice Bar-B-Q Sauce for 5-10 mins on each side
Mac N Cheese
Boil water and cook pasta of your choosing, pulling and draining at al dente
Make the sauce by whisking over a over a low flame; butter and flour. Once its combined, add heated milk, shredded american cheese, cheddar cheese, and monterrey jack. Combine it all together and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine the sauce and pasta in a casserole dish, and top with more cheese and diced scallions! Then bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins
Eggs
Scramble three eggs and cook in a non-stick skillet
Sandwich
Slice a brioche (or bun of your choice) and place a slice of american cheese on the bottom. Then top with the scrambled eggs, ribs you have pulled off of the bone, a big scoop of mac n cheese, and don't forget to add more Stubb’s Sweet Honey & Spice Bar-B-Q Sauce!
Stubb's BBQ was the perfect addition for the sando because its all natural honey isn't too sweet when combined with the kick of the spices! No better, or easier way to get that depth of flavor in the recipe!
