8 MUST EAT Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwiches/Wraps in NYC

A chicken caesar salad has been a staple of my diet since I was a kid ordering it at the diner down the street! From its origins in Tijuana, Mexico, to its place on menus around the world, I’ve always loved it in every form. Lately, though, I think it’s really having a moment here in NYC, especially when transformed into sandwiches and wraps. So, I did some research, tracked down the local favorites, and taste-tested them all. Each one brought something unique to the table, but here is my list in order, of my personal preference, with a bonus pick you won’t want to miss! If I missed any other caesar specials, definitely leave a comment so I can go try it!

Ediths Sandwich Counter- Everything from Edith’s Sandwich Counter is my favorite, so of course their caesar special was going to be as well! Inside of a lavash wrap is chicken schnitzel, big crunchy challah croutons, and a kale tahini caesar salad! It’s so crunchy, it's so bright, it brings those big caesar flavors, and I love that punch of kale you get!

Milano Market- The Italian deli Milano Market has been an Upper East Side gem for decades! They have all kinds of prepared foods, sandwiches, and more, but this was the chicken caesar wrap that was the most recommended from tiktok! This one is loaded up with grilled chicken, croutons, lettuce, romano cheese, and of course caesar dressing! I appreciate that this was probably the healthiest one, I appreciate that it's giant, especially for the price, but I do think it was too hyped for me! Especially seeing their beautiful chicken cutlets sitting there, I think that would be an incredible substitution!

L’indsutrie- Everyone knows L’indsutrie is one of the best pizza shops in NYC, but did you know that they do a special sandwich every weds? You have to get lucky if you are waiting for the chicken caesar special. I suggest following them on social, seeing when it will be on the menu, and ordering ahead that morning, but it’s worth it for this loaded up chicken cutlet caesar sandwich with pepperoncini on top! The bread is really great, and that added pepperoncini gives it such a nice pop of acidity and spice!
