So much NYC Restaurant news this week! Here are the highlights of what you need to be eating this April and May! This is part of this week’s new episode of the “Let Me Tell You Why” podcast, which you can listen to in full below, which has me answering all of your questions!
Son Del North
Son Del North is one of the best burrito spots in the city, and for Cinco de Mayo, they will have a special collab burrito with Monte’s on the menu May 6-9th at the Carmine street location. Its a Chicken Parmesan Quesadilla made with a chicken cutlet that’s marinated in a blend of salsa macha, monte’s sauce, and buttermilk, before being breaded and deep fried, cut in half and filled with melted mozzarella and tomato sauce. They then put that into a warm tortilla which has been filled with monteray jack, provolone, and more mozz, and finished with fresh basil, and served with more sauce for dipping and salsa macha.

Sandwell
It’s another Ramp Spring, and Sandwell has added a special Chicken Rampant sandwich which has a housemade wild ramp chimichurri, a garlic ramp aioli, grilled chicken, roasted mushrooms, turkey bacon, swiss cheese, and caramelized onions, all on their house baked semolina roll.

H&H Bagels
H&H has a special Honey Harissa Hot Pickle Cream Cheese available all month long. To create it, they teamed up with Hot Girl Pickles, and of course you can get this on whatever you want!
Upon the Palace
Upon the Palace has launched a $45 all you can eat dim sum service, Sat and Sundays only from 10am-3pm! You have a 90 minute window to eat as much as you can, with some of the dim sum favs being har gow, pork shumai, soup dumplings, bbq pork buns, and so much more.

Musaafer
Musaafer, the modern Indian restaurant in FiDi has introduced a new lunch service every weekday from 11:45am to 2pm. They will have a two course tasting menu for $45 with option additions, or a limited a la carte menu, think Lychee Ceviche, Chicken Tikka Seekh Kebab, and Fish Moilee.

Emmy Squared
Emmy Squared is launching a new skinny square pizza! Its the same everything, except now with 40% less dough, making it crispier, and a lighter take on the classic Detroit style. It will be available at all locations and with every pie!
