New Jose Andre Steakhouse opening, New NYC Pizza, and a Park Slope Fav comes to the West Village! On Deck 9/17

So much NYC Restaurant news this week! Here are the highlights of what you need to be eating this September!
Miriam
Miriam has been a beloved Mediterranean restaurant in Brooklyn and the UES for 20 years, and this past week they have opened up a brand new location in the West Village! All of the favs are here tableside lamb shawarma, burekas, Turkish eggs, and more!

Slicehaus
Slicehaus just opened in the West Village with a focus on of course pizza, but sandwiches as well! They have traditional slices like margarita and pepperoni, square slices with ham and corn, and potato and bacon, special slices like the polpetta and ricotta, and then the sandwiches look amazing, meatball parm, mortadella and burrata, plus a porchetta and porcini.

Txula Steak
Txula Steak is the newest concept from Jose Andres, opening in Mercado Little Spain. It is a steakhouse inspired by the flavors and foods of Basque country. Think Spanish lamb, iberico pork, steak tartare, manchego mac n cheese, and so much more!

Tradicionale
Tradicionale is a Filipino-Spanish bistro and bar opening this fall! This menu looks amazing, they have a lobster palabok with roasted lobster gravy, pork rinds, and crispy garlic, a sizzling short rib, and a longganisa fried rice with Filipino sweet sausage!

Inday's
The Williamsburg location of Inday, is becoming Inday’s adding a ton of new dishes to their Indian comfort food menu! Naan con tomate, biryani with Indian katsu chicken, and more!

Narkara
Narkara is the brand new Thai restaurant in Union Square that focuses on dishes from the north and north eastern part of Thailand. Standouts from the menu include gaeng kradang which is a chilled red curry, kanom krom pu is a savory take on coconut street pancakes filled with crab and jam, and then kua kae ped is a seared duck breast tossed with Thai eggplant, string beans, and more!

Crispy Heaven
Crispy Heaven in Soho is launching dinner service for the first time, serving it every Friday and Saturday Evening. The menu’s stand out items include their spicy chorizo pizza napoletana, dry aged burger with cheddar, wagyu tacos, roasted cauliflower, and more!

UOVO
Coming Spring 2026 is going to be UOVO, an Italian restaurant from LA, which is opening in NoMad where every single day handmade pasta will be flown in from Bologna Italy!
