I had the opportunity to interview WWE Superstar Trick Williams on my “What Is Your Bagel Order?” series. Watch the full episode below to see us talk about why he wanted a bagel I literally couldn’t find, and see all episodes HERE, but with Trick we also discussed his upcoming match with Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania for the United States Championship, how Randy Orton has been a mentor, and how I can achieve 1% of his aura.
Heading Into Your First WrestleMania
Jeremy: You’re heading into your first WrestleMania. Huge match with Sami Zayn. What’s going through your mind right now?
Trick: Ain’t he ugly? Oh man, he’s an ugly dude, man. Look, does he look like a champion to you?

Jeremy: I… yeah, you know.
Trick: Look, man, understand what I’m saying. I heard you’ve been watching the product for a very, very long time. So you got respect for the product and everything that’s been going on.
Jeremy: There’s levels.
Trick: And you see that version of Sami Zayn when he was doing his thing. You see Bloodline Sami Zayn. You see Jackass Sami Zayn. I see Jackass Sami Zayn, too. You see what I’m saying? He doesn’t look like a champion. Trick Williams looks like a champion. I’m in New York, white mink coat, lemon pepper steppers. Let’s talk about it.
The Fit Check and Aura
Jeremy: [laughing] Speaking of that, I feel like your aura is so strong. How do I get like 1% of that?
Trick: All right, should we do a fit check?
Jeremy: Let’s do it.
Trick: All right. So we both came to the same place today. We’re going to eat a bagel. You know, I wear all white.
You did the safe thing. I see it. You got your Whoop band on.
Jeremy: I got my Apple Watch.
Trick: Your Apple Watch. Okay.
Jeremy: [laughing] I feel like you’re not liking any of this.
Trick: You cross your legs like that. I cross so the lemon pepper steppers show. You know what I mean? But I think after today, we’re going to have a good bagel, and we’re going to reflect. We’re going to say, “Next time I go out, I got a pair of lemon pepper steppers for you.” You just let me know when you need them. I got them for you.
Jeremy: I will take you up on that.

Randy Orton’s Influence
Jeremy: There were reports a few weeks ago that Randy Orton in particular kind of took you under his wing. Is that true? And if not, has there been anyone backstage that’s gone out of their way for you?
Trick: Man, me and Randy have a complicated relationship. You know what I mean? It’s a love-hate relationship. Because obviously the voices in his head are telling him to whoop that Trick. But the voices in his head are also telling him that I’m not 6’5”. So I don’t know what to believe anymore, you know what I mean?
Trick: But he’s a cool guy. I really do like Randy, man. He’s a legend in the game, of course. He is the Viper. And it’s very refreshing that he likes to give back to some of the rookies in the game. He has good intentions, and that’s awesome.
